ouch, could Genesys really be that bad?
Not gonna happen as long as fox owns the rights to him. Being a big fan of the 90s cartoon I would welcome this, but he would have to work in tandem with another villain.
Disappointing setback. Out of all the proposed videogame adaptations this one is the most worthy.
I can't help but question the sanity of people who are trying to defend the pilot for season 2. The show feels like a parody of itself at this point. It was truly awful.
I will admit that the idea of making an alien invasion movie set after the initial alien invasion is a novel approach but this just seems like it's 20 years too late.

I think it is worth noting that GB2 was completely panned upon its release(it really isn't very good), yet we are worried that this new film is going to shit the bed.

Don't know if this show will ever be the same again without Clarkson, but he kind of shot himself in the foot. This isn't the first time he's been the subject of controversy, I believe not long ago he was under fire for uttering a racial slur on camera.

Maybe somebody can tell me...what exactly did they accomplish in The Matrix 2? I feel like nothing they did really moved the plot forward, it was just there for filler.
I wouldn't go so far to say that it is a bad film, but like Revolutions it just feels unnecessary. And the scene where Neo fights 1000 agents smiths is one of the most embarrassing displays of CG this side of Peter Jackson's King Kong green screening antics.

The reason I take issue with the casting is because all of Fieg's films have the same feel - Ghostbusters is supposed to be unique. That's not to say that I don't find Fieg's films entertaining, but if he's only interested doing a copy and paste job than this will feel like a missed opportunity.
Personally I think it would be more progressive to have a film where both men and women make up the main cast. We've seen Hollywood pander to feminism plenty,...

I'm not usually one to be affected by news of celebrity deaths, but even though he lived such a long a full life this one is still hard to swallow.
That really sucks, I was looking forward to what they would do with The Flash.
More importantly, will the movie touch on Han's first marriage? This really just feels like a fan service; kinda like making a Bobba Fett movie. Do we really need this movie?
