Kevin Bacon has actually expressed an interest in returning to the franchise. Bring back him and Fred Ward and that movie will shoot to #1 must see status.

I know they will be tempted, but please spare us any involvement from Daken. Worst idea for a character ever. He is all of Wolverine's bad traits rolled into one.

eh, it's more like a 2.5/5 for me

It's a great concept, subverting class superheroes and whatnot, but the movie falls back on formula and the last half is just run of the mill stuff. I was really disappointed because some of the shorts they released prior to this were insane, the superman one in particular.

Maybe it could have used more Edgar Wright?

Yup, sounds about right.

Why bother going out and getting Oscar Isaac if you are just going to hide him under so many layers of make up and costume? It could just be a case of bad set photos, but this is looking really campy in a bad way. Psylock looks spot on, and I love the idea that we are finally getting a Mohawk-ed storm, but is that glitter on her cape? Fucking glitter!?

Initially I was disappointed in them passing on Romero as well, then I saw Land, Diary and Survival of the Dead.

I will say one thing for Anderson though, he directed one of the best video game adaptations ever in Mortal Kombat.

The failed attempt to recreate the tracking shot moment from last season was a good indication of how far this show has declined.

I'll admit that by judging by the trailer the movie does appear to be missing a certain wow factor, but I don't think it has to follow the comic verbatim to be successful. It can still do justice to the fantastic four while carving its own path, considering a lot of what makes the comic popular is still intact.

Josh Trank actually has a vision for his movie. He has described it as a dark amblim picture, and those of us that have fond memories of movies like Hook and ...

eh, it from the looks of the trailer it seems like they are just trying too hard. A lot of the humor in the trailer had me rolling my eyes.

Joker isn't part of the group, he's the catalyst for the group forming. He serves as the antagonist.

That obviously Tracy Morgan in drag. And now I hate myself.

As lackluster as the costumes look, I can't bring myself to criticize them knowing the amount of vitriol that is being spewed in the direction of these ladies. None of them are even smiling, they look like they are taking a mug shot.

Yeah, I'm always kind of weary of MCU films. Is this really going to be the next Guardians or is it just the latest property they are trying to pawn off on fans? I feel that generally critics are a lot more forgiving of their flaws then they would be of other movies that commit the same sins. One review says that 90 minutes of the film are dedicated to exposition. That's over half the damn movie!

That being said I am still excited for Civil War.

No way, bring Snipes back. If any other actor were to try to fill the role it would just seem like a cheap imitation. He'll, I'd be down to see Kristofferson return.

It's just gonna be weird when Aunt May brings dates back to the house, that's all I'm saying.

IMO, DC doesn't get enough love. Without DC there is no Marvel! DC laid the foundation for comic books, and Marvel wisely capitalized on it (cannibalizing plenty of DC properties along the way). DC's run in the 80s was one of the all time greatest runs in comic book history. What they accomplished with graphic novels, expanding on the medium, was just as significant as Marvel's run in the silver age.

I'm looking forward to see what WB has in store for DC'...

I'm ok with this, but only if Joe Pesci plays Uncle Ben and Aunt May is an out of work hairdresser from Queens.
