I really want to see a feature film come out of this series. We're so long overdue for a new MK movie. I'd like to see what it would look like with a massive budget.
I would love a new movie and I think if the web shows keep getting hits then it will only be a matter of time.
Count me amongst those who would love to see a quality Mortal Kombat movie get made. The characters are dynamic enough, and the story could certainly be told in an entertaining fashion. They need to continue ratcheting up support for the idea, and above all else, need to assemble a competent team, if said idea comes to fruition. Sounds simple enough!
I'm sure they'll replace Jeri Ryan if they make a movie. It's all about the bottom line and attracting the younger audience and the gamers so they'll have to get one of the younger stars to play Sonya. Hope they do it soon...It would be nice to have a Mortal Kombat movie to go see at the box office with all those fight scenes.
