For the first time, a major Hollywood film will hit the $20 threshold at the box office, as movie-theater owners test the public's ability to absorb ever higher ticket prices.

Rentrak has announced last week’s most rented and highest-selling movies. In sales, Despicable Me came in to unseat Eclipse as the animated feature took over the first spot as highest-selling movie in it’s debut week on DVD and Blu-ray. This is no surprise after reports earlier of the movie doing so well. Eclipse didn’t fall far though as it still holds second place in its third week of release. Meanwhile, Toy Story 3 continues to sell well as it manages to land at number 7. That makes almost two months straight now that the release has been out and in the top ten.

You can read the full interview over here, but we thought we'd particularly draw your attention to what he had to say about planned animation sequels to Kung-Fu Panda and How To Train Your Dragon and more. Namely, that we're looking at a total of four Madagascar films, six Pandas (which was already rumoured) and at least three Dragons.
Six Kung Fu Panda movies! I just saw the first recently. I am looking forward to the future ones.
