I know. His stories about rejecting and later accepting his role, dare I say typecast, as Spock was an interesting look at him as an evolution as both a person and an actor. If you haven't already, I recommend reading his two books I Am Not Spock and I Am Spock. Really good insight into his life and what he accepted.

Puck? Really? He could be a young Madison Jeffries.

KGBeast huh? That would be interesting to see.

It's not that I don't get paid good money; it's now that I am working on a budget, as I said in the article, to save to buy a house, I now have a "fun money" account that is slightly limited. The goal is to save the 30% down payment in about a year. If it wasn't for that, trust me, my $70K a year usually allows for more than one movie night a week. =)

I gotta admit I have never been a fan of the yellow and blue costume, but I did like his brown and tan one as well as his black and gray costume from X-Force.

Especially when it made the switch to Justice League Unlimited. Then it really flourished.

I completely agree with you Hergula. I loved the film and I am hoping that Edwards returns to make the sequel. There is so much to explore with the franchise that, if done correctly, could lead to a string of films.

Several comments had it right - in the pre-Crisis DC timeline, Superman had to execute Zod and two other Kryptonians because there was no other alternative. That being said, the killing of the three still haunted Superman for years after the event - even coming up again during the Our Worlds at War story.

While he may not have killed another being since then, it did happen and its had a profound effect of Superman's character.

As for the Injustice: Gods...

You actually make some valid points there. I believe that some people wanted the Mandarin to be all mystical and vile and evil. At the same time, people wanted to see the super hero Tony Stark rather than a character with vulnerabilities.

I get what you are saying, and I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see some big bad Iron Man movie with armored fighters fighting Stark the whole way. Maybe the next story they can adapt would be the Armor Wars story, check that...

1. Plot holes, can't argue with you there.
2. If you've followed the comics, especially after the Civil War and during the Avengers run of the 80s, Stark did have moments in which he questioned his role and would break down. They focused on that here, as well as being out gunned by the Extremis soldiers, which you should check out that storyline to see where that is drawn from.
3. If your complaint was that Tony didn't wear the suit, you missed the point that him w...

The characters all had this great rapport with each other, I definitely agree with that. And I love how they handled the Mandarin. I have a theory on that which I am currently writing, but I won't post it until next week when most people have seen the film and it won't be as much of a spoiler anymore.

Yeah, I think some of the last few Smith movies (I Am Legend, Hancock, Seven Pounds) have been iffy, but I did like Men In Black 3 (surprisingly). Also, not quite sure how I feel about Shyamalan at the helm, but I do like Jaden Smith also. I'm willing to give this one a shot if for any other reason than it being a sci-fi flick.

Wow, congrats to a great woman and one hell of a terrific athlete and performer. She deserved to be Diva of the Decade, she deserves the Hall of Fame induction, and she deserves all the happiness she has. She was one of the best and nicest people to talk to backstage when meeting the WWE locker room and is a great person overall who really appreciates the love and support her fans have given her over the years.

It originally was, but the site editor didn't like it and renamed it. I didn't agree with the name change either. Initially, this was to be published on his 50th birthday, which just passed this week, but it was delayed by two days.

So I guess that means they are officially debuting her "Rescue" character then. Cool.

I would definitely love to see a Nightwing series.

It is hard to keep up with everything that comes out. Especially at $10 a ticket nowadays.

Maybe it is because great minds think alike. =)

I love the light-hearted feel of the film. If you read the books, it definitely was a nice surprise to see that represented in the film.

Yeah, 2013 looks like it could be fun. There are some big movies there, but the smaller, hidden gems are the ones I am rooting for. Especially Pacific Rim.
