Awesome list. I love each of the five war movies you listed. As for the five worst, I would include Honey over Alone in the Dark, but that's just me.

Well, if I still haven't seen it and you ever happen to be in my area, would you mind going with me? LOL

Okay, so I have officially read more good things about this one than bad. Now I really NEED to see this one. Anyone want to go with me? My wife doesn't like horror movies...

I knew it would be an up-in-the-air article. I just figured since it was television related I would give it a shot. If not, no hard feelings.

He did make a great Punisher, and showed signs of that emotion that could have made the character work. It wasn't his fault that the director and writer lacked the ability to make the character work.

The Jane version had that emotional mix but I agree, with the lack of extreme measures the Punisher would usually go to, he came off looking like a pussy.

@MinimeJer05: If only they could make a great Punisher movie. But it would have to be a movie that will push the limit of the R rating. The Punisher is a deeper character than most people think he is and in the previous movies they forget that in favor of the violence and action.

The Expendables is one of those movies that I was able to sit and watch with my dad and step-dad and just enjoy the mindless plot and violence and just enjoy it at that level, nothing more.

I think so. IMO, the funniest show no one is watching.

Yeah, and it is some of the best animation you will see on American TV.

Its okay. I know what you meant when I first read it. Yeah, I am glad that it is still on the air despite good competition during the time slot, but it should have a bigger audience.

They were in Race to Witch Mountain.

I simply love Carla Gugino. And I am a huge fan of The Rock. (Sorry, I am a wrestling fan and he will always be The Rock to me.) Their first movie together was fun. Too bad this one wasn't quite up to par.

With some movies, you can kind of blind out the bad if there is enough good in it. With Faster, while there are some scenes, mainly the killing ones, that kind of leave you like "whoa," the majority of the film is barely passable at best. Netflix is definitely the way to go with this one.

Even if in the end you don't like it, it is definitely a movie you can't skip.

4779d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, the movie may have been one big mess, but my writer and I both agree that the movie did work on some levels and was at the very least fun to watch.

Sales of hard copies are down. But take into account the numbers being sold through Marvel's own digital and the other publishers using Comixology and you get some pretty good numbers in terms of readers. I am not a big fan of digital comics but it seems that if companies want to turn more profits, they will have to figure out the balance between hard and digital copies to save money on hard copies not sold.

I agree with darklordzor in that I don't think comics really need saving. Is the readership as high as it was back in the mid-90s? No. But when you consider a lot of those sales numbers back then came from pure collectors as opposed to comic fans, the numbers of fans has actually increased.

When I first started at the site I am editor for, we had no comic book section. After I started one and became editor of the section, the numbers on our site nearly tripled cause of t...

I wish they would have just left it in, but whatever. If it was that important for the film to get a PG-13 rating, so be it. I am getting pretty tired of the MPAA and directors and studios bowing down to them. Then again, I am very much anti-censorship, and the MPAA is a censorship board no matter how they try to spin it.

I heard about her passing on my way home from work this morning. An amazing actress and a wonderful humanitarian. She will always be remembered as one of the Hollywood greats.

That's for sure. He definitely carried the movie when he was on screen.
