There is currently a rumour going round that Sony’s Spider-Man as seen in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is going to be crossing over into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A lot of fans have been asking for this for a while now. Other than the rights issue, which is apparently being worked around, there are other reasons why Sony’s Spider-Man should not cross over to the MCU
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Needs some sort tags for Spider-Man and Avengers, but I'm not sure which, so I'll leave it to the mods.
Same with your other article too: http://filmwatch.com/news/1...
Too late in my opinion
Take the battle of New York for example in the Avengers, for Spiderman to be New Yorks most loved Superhero he sure took a back seat in the battle.
SHIELD has never once mentioned him, not even a reference
No Spiderman references like Oscorp Industries and vice versa for Spiderman like Stark Industries.
Then you have the fact at the end of the Avengers people seem surprised with the fact they now have Superheros, well wouldn't New Yorkers know of Spiderman. Stan Lee's cameo "Superheros in New York...Gimmie a break"
I don't agree with Sony selling rights to Spider-Man. Beyond a few surprise hits in recent years, the only franchise Sony Pictures has that is dependable is Spider-Man. Plus on a bad day Spider-Man still does better than almost every stand alone Marvel film.
I think a crossover would be insane for fans. Tying the pieces together and bring purpose to the past two films, it would be healthy for both. Plus Marvel needs to spark a fire to fend off Justice League, what better way to do it?
Plus facing facts, eventually Marvel will get rights back to Spider-Man so why not keep him healthy until that time comes? Instead of purposely letting Sony run it into the ground?
lol people are actually getting upset with spiderman coming over to Marvel (Disney) due to him not showing up in the big new york fight? and other reasons? damn
i understand most of the views but its nitpicking at best
they are just now saying "gifted" for mutants on shield and Disney.
Dr.Strange is in new york why didnt he get in the fight? lol nitpick
They should just leave him out of it. I think Sony needs to focus on setting the Spider-Man franchise on the right path rather than relying on mixing Spidey with other characters to boost his credits. Everyone gives Spider-Man 3 a hard time, but it at least closed off a trilogy. But since The Amazing Spider-Man, it seems like the studio has no clear direction for the movies.
