This happens every so often in MN at the Marcus Theaters establishments. I believe they didn't run Cloverfield or Sweeney Todd for a month after release.
Simply put, the man has a gambling addiction and needs to continue fueling it.
Yeah, I just don't care for the Superman character. The casting of Crowe and Costner, plus director Snyder did have me get a little curious about the project, but this trailer is really the first thing I can firmly get behind.
I didn't mean beef up security at movie theaters (although re-reading my post it certainly does sound like I said that). I meant beef up nationwide security in terms of better monitoring the sales of such weapons.
Out of those two trailers I prefer the one with Kevin Costner doing the voice over. Overall I'm impressed with the tone/mood the teaser gives off. Wasn't looking forward to this AT ALL until now.
If anything they need to beef up security, but keep the show rolling. This is a massive tragedy, but we can't let the murderer get the satisfaction of being able to break the people.
I say make sure to get out and see a movie to support something we love doing. I feel horrible for the victims and my thoughts are with them, but we need to take a stand for our love of cinema and support the troubled industry now more than ever.
As much as I liked War Zone more, I always enjoyed Jane's portrayal of the character too. Both him and Stevenson approached the character with COMPLETELY different takes that I don't think would be fair to compare.
Jane was going for the emotional side, which was a little too much for my liking and Stevenson the over-the-top violence, which was AWESOME, but had little to no story.
I'd like a proper mix of the two, which this short seems to be doin...
I'd be all for a sequel, despite it never happening.
Would this really come as a surprise? It's been leading to this point. I sure hope it is the real ending, because that's what I've had my bet on ever since they cast Hardy as Bane.
I loved this movie. Not sure how I'd feel about a post-converted 3D viewing though.
I don't think so. I could see it getting a nom, but not winning. There's Tarantino and PT Anderson films coming out!
I want to watch this, but I think I'm going to skip it. DAMN IT.
Amen! Not such a bad movie after all. I still think people had this movie judged before even seeing it, which means it never got a real chance.
That first IMAX one is great. The second one is good, but doesn't fit the film at all. Reminds me of Punisher: War Zone and Expendables.
The third banner is great though.
Solid list of films that I've mostly not seen.
Yeah, I hope they don't do anything similar to Inception. I'd like some more closure to the Batman series and I think they realize that most of the fans NEED that closure.
Wasn't the biggest fan of The Avengers. Good film, not not top ten material.
Why? If the director doesn't have any intentions of shooting the film for 3D then seeing it in 3D would be as pointless as converting 2D source material to 3D on those new 3D TV's.
It's defeating the purpose, really.
He did a fantastic job in John Carter and a "meh" job in Battleship.
No, Savages doesn't save him. It actually makes him look worse.
Pretty much a pointless scene. Glad it was cut.
