This one looks like a good rental, but nothing more.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm interested in checking this out in theaters and in 3D. Missed it the first time around.
I really disliked the fourth film and this fifth one sounds just as bad. Not liking the title and I don't really care about the film in general UNLESS it goes back to its R rated roots, which it probably wont.
That's honestly what I think happened. Neveldine/Taylor would have been vocal if Sony wouldn't allow them to make THEIR cut of the film.
It must have just sort of worked.
Most of the footage and interviews were pointing towards the R, but I guess not.
Hopefully we find out more soon.
This looks really fun. I like the easy going tone of it all. It's not super realistic or grounded in grit darkness. It's just a fun superhero movie with a HUGE cast list.
Looking forward to this movie but that trailer is the same as the US minus a different voice over.
Read an interview where Soderbergh said he was having troubles cutting this from down from an R to a PG13, which worries me.

I doubt Lin will have time for Terminator in the near future. If Fast 6 and 7 do well I'm sure he'll have tons of other offers come across his desk.
I do want to see him try something different, but at the same time maybe he's not the right man for Terminator.

This looks really funny. I usually don't like Cody's writing, but it appears that it balanced out with Reitman's directing in this one. Who knows.

The Star Wars/Star Trek one was dumb, but the Terminator and Matrix similarities kind of opened up some doors. Didn't know anything about that.

While I agree with the points of Disney and kid appeal, I don't think Hulk or crossover will help The Avengers much at all.
The Dark Knight Rises is really up in the air at this point. A lot of people argued the reason for TDK making so much was because of Ledger and his buzz as The Joker, well TDKR's intake will prove that to be true or false.
The Avengers will be successful, but not as successful as The Dark Knight Rises. That is almost a guarantee....
Looks like pure Oscar bait. Nothing bad from a technical standpoint, but really dry and lifeless. I'll see it because it's Spielberg, but that's it.
I honestly think that films should be made with NO rating in mind. The director should make what he or she wants and let the MPAA be the last thing they worry about.
I hate when R rated films get cut down to PG13 or when a director tries to insert more stuff for a random R instead of the kid friendly PG13.
I prefer R rated movies, but if the film was meant to be PG13 then I can't really hold it against them.
Several DVD reviews mention it. The lips don't even match up in some scenes, because they always had it in mind to film it PG-13. They just had Willis dub over a few lines to drop in some F bombs.
