Actually the Wachowskis only wrote and produced V for Vendetta. James McTeigue directed it.

It's not about the level of skill required to pull off the job. Rather it's about the appeal of the industry and how much profit is made through films.

Let's take POTC4. Whether Depp was paid $5,000 or $50million, the movie still made $1billion dollars. The point being, how much he was paid had no effect on the film and how much profit it made.

Well it's pretty obvious that the film industry has potential for huge profits. What happens here ...

I dont find this to be good news at all like some people. I'm with you. Dark just isnt in good hands with Disney.

The only possible saving grace i see for Daredevil is that Disney and Marvel are busy with Avengers universe. I dont see DD becoming a part of that. So, hopefully, they'll decide to kick the property down to Marvel Knights since Disney/Marvel have their hands full. Marvel Knights isnt into high profile movies necessarily, so it would be "small" b...

Not that I know of it wasn't fake. The only "retraction" I know of was that it was kinda considered a done deal that Fox would give up Silver Surfer and Galactus to keep Daredevil. Sites were reporting it as if Fox was going to take the deal. However, it was later retracted that Fox wasn't biting and definitely had intentions to just let the Daredevil rights revert back and keep Silver Surfer and Galactus.

I would say Dark Knight Returns Part 2 will still happen. After all, Premiere isn't the only one involved. Warner Bros Animation is the big one behind that.

The news also says that WB is in fact folding the Premiere division into other divisions, and shifting employees around. So, I don't really see this having much of an effect on things other than streamlining stuff. And especially the animation titles won't go away as WB Animation maintains that stuff.

Sounds like awesome news. Might definitely have to go check that out. This is definitely one of my all-time favorites. Let's hope they open it here. Of course, it would be even more awesome if they showed it on the Real IMAX we have around here (one of the few REAL ones left in the country anymore). Of course, they won't do that. That place only shows crappy little 3D IMAX docs.

I understand what you're getting at and it would definitely be possible. However, just not sure it would be something that would be wise. A "bridge" movie like that would need to be real "B-side" in order to play its role properly. You want to keep the series as the main focus. Any film should be treated as just a "B-side" type supplemental thing. As such, it shouldn't be a big box office affair. Something like direct-to-dvd or made-for-tv would be best s...

Sorry, Columbia/Sony did Ghost Rider...so, fail there.

On the other hand, Fox has done well by the X-Men franchise. And if First Class is any indication, Fox is looking to handle these things more seriously now. I think what they had in the works for Daredevil could have been good.

Now, toss it back over to Marvel and I have a feeling it's going to get lost in the shuffle and not tended to properly. They're too focused on the Avengers plan over there...

That really sucks. I was so looking forward to this sequel. I love Cronenberg's work with Viggo. Eastern Promises and A History of Violence were both great. I was really hoping to see the 2 team up again for another crime thriller like the aforementioned movies. Sequel would've been just as good.

As one of my all-time favorite franchises, this is absolutely one that I'm eager to see. Can't wait to get this one.

I definitely wouldn't mind going to see Jaws on the big screen. That would be cool. Such a great movie. I really wish we had one of those theaters around here that was somewhat dedicated to just showing older films. Or at the very least had regular "events" doing that.

I like the franchise, though it's definitely been getting worse as it goes along. But I do agree, way too early for a reboot. I think there should be a rule that movies can't be remade until they're at least 10 years old.

Yeah, I don't see her having an overly big part. Though, if she does, I definitely don't see her being the damsel in distress type role.

You know, this news kinda makes me hope Justin Long turns up. I don't know why, just like that guy.

This is pretty cool news. I've only recently been getting into going back and watching Bob's Burgers that's on Netflix. It's pretty good from what I've seen so far and I've been enjoying it. Bur Archer is absolutely brilliant. Love that show. Definitely can't wait to see more, and I'm sure the crossover will be hilarious.

lol I know right? I can imagine that behind the scenes documentary being more entertaining than the movie.

That being said, if Anna Faris isn't a part of this, I don't want to see it. For me, she's become the staple of that franchise. In either case, I really feel the franchise has kinda ran its course anyways.

I finally got around to watching American Reunion last night and I thought it was decent. I didn't feel it was quite the return to form that made it as good as the original. While it had it's moments, it did still lack a bit of something. But all in all, it was a decent watch. It just didn't make me laugh as much as I wanted (maybe my expectations were too high). That being said, it was decent as I said, and I thought it tied up loose ends well. I thought it was a nice way to roun...

I don't know all the details on the licensing rights for this property so I can't say for certain what WB does possess. However, I do know that there is a difference between TV licensing and Film licensing. It's not uncommon for one company to hold sole film rights, while maybe somebody has rights to use a character on TV. This could very well be the case here. Maybe DC sold Warner Bros film rights, but Warner doesn't have any TV rights?

I have to agree with several on this list. Probably the biggest one: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. You know, fans jumped all over this movie and I still have no clue why really. For me it was Indiana Jones through and through really. Sure there was something different about Indy, but he was older, that was expected. One of the biggest complaints I've heard is "Aliens? Really? That's stupid!". Umm...did we forget all the supernatural elements that previo...

lol Don't worry. I find with the smaller base of core users here and the way I set things up, if you stick around for a bit, you're bound to win....multiple times. So keep trying :)
