Not to say that Will Smith would be good for a Spawn movie, but Will Smith doesn't do flops, sorry. So, even if he did make a Spawn movie, chances are in his favor that it would still perform well.

Will Smith is like the 11th ranked actor/actress in terms of box office gross, all-time. Even if you look at average box office gross, he's ranked 6th of all-time. Even then, that's only because the top 3 are occupied by the Harry Potter trio (Emma, Daniel and Rupert). ...

Hmm, you still haven't received it? Granted, prizes were sent out late (towards the end of the month after Thanksgiving), but I would think it should have gotten there by now.

That's horrible news. I love this show. Cumberbatch is brilliant in the role. I really can't wait to see more and it would be horrible having to wait until 2014 for another season.

Pretty sure that's fairly standard practice for most shows. Release the last season on DVD just a bit before the new season starts as a means to build hype. Not to mention, people are so eager for the new season to start, they're more pikely to buy the last season DVD to refresh their memory and get a bit of fix until the new season starts.

I think this is a brilliant move really. Combining Kasdan and Kinberg, you get the new and old merging. Kasdan is a wonderfully great writer and his experience with the Star Wars franchise will allow for the continuity type deal of continuing the feel from the originals.

Meanwhile, the addition of Kinsberg will bring in the new blood to give it a dose of freshness. And we've already seen from his X-Men work that he can be very good.

I think this could b...

That's only opening weekend and only domestic box office. I think the movie has grossed upwards of $140 million so far worldwide.

They all made tons of money like that. Though will say PA4 kinda underperformed, as PA3 made over $50 million opening weekend.

Ideally, he needs to be a tad bit slimmer in the face. But he looks good in the role either way. There was never much of a doubt about this as Tom Hanks just looks damn near perfect for that role really.

SPOILERS:
Agreed. I don't really think Carol is dead. I just don't see them doing her death so nonchalantly after the big deal made with the others. They just showed her as being "missing" at the end. I think that was just to mount tension. Maybe Carol will end up serving as a bridge between Rick's group and the Governor's group or something, who knows...? But I'm pretty sure she's not dead.

They've actually mentioned the possibility of rebooting the series at some point. This came after Lionsgate bought out Summit earlier this year. Guess Lionsgate has a desire to cash in on the popular franchise themselves.

lol Funny. I was telling my gf about Spielberg's Lincoln movie the other day and her first question was "Are there going to be vampires?"

Disney doesn't own Dreamworks. Disney just made a deal to distribute films for Dreamworks.

However, that deal does not pertain to Dreamworks Animation. Dreamworks Animation is still distributed by Paramount, until next year at which point 20th Century Fox will begin distributing their animated movies.

I'm pretty sure, as far as ownership goes, Dreamworks is an independent production company that is owned by Reliance. As for Dreamworks Animation, they...

Pfister has done some great work so it will be interesting to watch to see how he handles helming a film.

I absolutely love Eddie Izzard. Matter of fact, just turned my gf onto him the other night when i made her watch one of his stand-ups with me. But yeah, I'd be more than happy to give anything with him a chance.

One can argue all day long whether the "creatures" in 28 Days/Weeks Later were technically zombies or not. However, the "zombie movie" has become an entire sub-genre of its own these days and this sub-genre has evolved.

28 Days Later is simply the newest evolution of the sub-genre, and you can't dismiss it as not being part of the "zombie movie" sub-genre just because it doesn't strictly adhere to the "traditional" genre that t...

I actually liked the jumping around in Sin City. In a sense it gave it something of an anthology feel, yet all real connected, that was part of the fun and appeal of it to me. Kinda that same thing that Pulp Fiction did.

That was actually pretty damn good. I don't think they need to go remaking Halloween yet again, but I definitely like this guy's take on it there.

I've also seen his short horror film Recollection (y'all should check it out). This guy definitely has a knack for directing. He's got a good grasp on tone and suspense. I'd love to see him get some work and a chance to really prove himself.

Awesome news. Granted, the sequel didn't live up to the first at all. But the first is one of my all-time favorite movies and the ending to the sequel (I'll avoid spoilers) has me very curious to see where they take it.
