The best way to explain how Real Steel comes off is to state that the adult audience found it rather dull while young childern enjoyed it quite a bit. The movie is really a below average action blockbuster that disguises itself as a family fun movie, the kind parents squirm through. Either way Real Steel is not as advertised on top of being nothing I wanted out of the experience. (Blu-ray, Real Steel) 7/10
