Paramount Acquires Novel ‘The Likeness’ For Stephanie Savage To Adapt

Deadline: Paramount Pictures has acquired The Likeness, the Tana French novel that will be adapted by Stephanie Savage. She and Fake Empire partner Josh Schwartz will produce, and they acquired the book through the discretionary fund that’s part of their first look deal at Paramount. The novel is about a young female detective who goes undercover to solve a murder in an elite college town. The detective wants to discover the truth, but she finds this new world to be quite seductive.
