I really have high hopes for this movie, the way that superhero movies have been going though I think it's safe to assume this one will be great.

darklordzor4558d ago

Me too. Even though I was really opposed to this reboot, (because I do like the first 2 Spider-Man films) everything I've seen so far has me excited.

Crazay4558d ago

I'm not sure what I think about this. On one hand I really liked the Raimi version and it just feels too soon, on the other hand, I think it might be fun to see someone elses vision of the character.

darklordzor4558d ago

At this point, I've considered the argument moot. I was really heated about it though at first. However, with seeing how differently they are handling it, I can now see how the two versions can work independently. Kind of like the first Batman films and the Nolan ones. There is room to like them both.

Maybe these reshoots can help cut out that Mirrors Edge rip off scene they showed in the trailer.

darklordzor4558d ago

Yeah, that's not going to happen. They've already said that's going to be in the film and one of the action scenes they were most excited about.

Crazay4558d ago

I think that scene is going to look wicked sharp in 3D.

darklordzor4558d ago

Yeah, that's where that scene is going to really come off great. In 2D it may look cheesy and what not, but in full 3D, I bet it's going to be pretty sweet.

It's one of the few times I'm looking forward to seeing something in 3D.

Crazay4558d ago (Edited 4558d ago )

I'm a big fan of the whole 3D movie experience. When it's done right it's VERY good. I think they're doing this film right with the 3D processes they're using. It's when they do 3D in post production that it's not as good.

pomoluese4557d ago

I hate 3D and I know it's what people consider "good" 3D that I've watched.

It hurts my head and I think it looks fake.

Plus that scene is frame for frame like Mirrors Edge they even compared it.

I'm on the fence at this point about this movie. I'm sure i'll end up seeing it but I still have a few doubts about it.

StarWarsFan4557d ago

I'm not in love with the cast so far, but I'm still willing to give them a chance with time and more exposure.

lets hope they reshoot every scene where this stupid looking spidey outfit appears...
