Namco Bandai announced this morning that a full-length 3D film titled TEKKEN Blood Vengeance is set to release this summer.
There are two types of video game movies out there. First, you have the live action versions that feature very bad acting and atrocious special effects (like Street Fighter), and then there’s the more credible animated movies such as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Tekken: Blood Vengeance thankfully falls into the latter category and is a movie fans have been wanting to see for many years.
The official Japanese slip cover has been revealed by Namco Bandai Games’ Katsuhiro Harada for the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive movie/game bundle, Tekken Hybrid, which contains the Blu-ray release of Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
Amazon has revealed several pack shots for the limited edition of the game/movie bundle that is coming exclusively to the Playstation 3, Tekken Hybrid, which includes the Blu-ray release of Tekken: Blood Vengeance.
Zero interest in a CG Tekken movie. They need to try making a (good) live action one first.
How about a Tekken vs. Street Fighter movie? I mean I guess we should first see how the game is like but assuming it's cool and the trailers sure look cool, maybe a movie would be good. I'll remain optimistic but realistic.
It can't be as bad as the live action film was but then again I could be wrong.
I don't think I would like it either. I didn't like the Resident Evil one like that.
Me to. I know I wouldn't want to see this. This is a big NO for me.
