These are some really good High res images that actually show some of the finer details of the costume.

Sunny_D4805d ago

Yeah, like that head hanging from his ... :o

Geez one second i like the costume, but without all the effects and what not like this its ugly as hell and i cant get used to it no matter how hard i try.

Meanwhile spiderman in 3d....oh joy.

Crazay4805d ago

lol - you are too much sometimes man. I really don't see the problem with the costume.

Soldierone4805d ago

I love Spiderman and im honestly doing everything i can to like that costume....but god its ugly.

Crazay4805d ago

i don't see how or why though.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It looks perfectly fine.

Soldierone4805d ago

I wish i was still good at drawing Spiderman so i can design my own and see what people think of my changes lol....but i havent done that in almost a year and lost my touch.

Hey, atleast you can see web shoot out in 3d!

Sunny_D4805d ago

The reason it looks bad is because they use CGI to add the strings to his costume, I think.

-MD-4805d ago

I personally think he looks like a good spider-man. I already know I'll like this better than the Macguire spidey films.

Sunny_D4805d ago

That's a bit too early to say if you like it or not. For all we know he may act great in Inception, but fall flat in this movie, or it will be the plot that sucks.

-MD-4805d ago

Yeah I knew that even as I was typing it. I'm just looking forward to this series of Spider-man much more than the previous one.

Also Inception? He wasn't in Inception as far as I know.

Crazay4805d ago

I think you lost me on this comment too Sunny. I think you probably meant to say The Social Network in which case, yes, you're absolutely right in that he may well fall flat on his face portraying a character as iconic as Spidey.

Crazay4805d ago

My take on the costume is this.

It looks good. Everything about it says "This is Spider-Man." The lines look fine and the Red/Blue pattern is all there. They even added the web shooters for the purists out there that thought Raimi's take wasn't true enough the character that Stan Lee created. Now the one thing I notice people making comments on all over the place is the feet. While I will agree that the feet look a little too "Reebok" I think it was a necessary requirement for both the actor/stunt people and Spider-man as a whole. It's possible that they'll remove that part digitally but I kinda doubt it.

Atleast he's really in costume unlike Tobey Maguire who let his stuntman do all of his masked scenes.
