New Transformers: Dark of the Moon TV Spot

A new TV spot for this summer's Transformers: Dark of the Moon aired today during NASCAR's Daytona 500 and you can check it out in the player below. Though similar to the recent Super Bowl spot, the new ad shows off a lot of brand-new footage as well. (Thanks to reader Scott for the heads up!)

The third film picks up after the events of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and continues the adventures of Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and his giant mechanical co-stars, hitting theaters on July 1st.

@Murder Well she plays a hooker in Jonah Hex and my god :D

@ JL I think she will turn out to be more annoying. With Michal Bays "look hot" attitude and me not knowing how good of an actress she is, yeah my bets on her not doing much lol.

That's all I care about. After playing War for Cybertron (great game) though I finally realize Tranformers has an actual story and I want to see that become a movie.

Of course that's all it will be. That's all it's supposed to be. That's why I don't understand the Michael Bay detractors. It's not like he works under the pretense that he's some intelligent film maker. He makes stuff look good (damn good) and that's it.

This looks like it will be definitely awesome and fun to watch.

People complain about Bay because they love Transformers and want an actual story to be told and told well. I can't fault them for wanting that.

Well he did "attempt" to tell a story in the second one and that failed miserably. People got bored.

Bay has is story elements and he knows when to put them in. Like JL said, he brags about explosions and cool visuals, but he doesnt brag about anything else.

To be honest people want big robot fights and cool visuals when they see this movie. If they walk in and get a 2 hour story they wont be happy. Only the core Transformer fans will.
