I've got to say we've gone from nothing on this film to a whole lot. I'm really starting to like what I see, but I'm still not sold on it. I guess I'm just not a big enough Captain America fan.

Maybe the Poster tomorrow and the commercial on Sunday will help sway me one direction or the other.

I'm beginning to feel a buzz over this movie. I didn't care too much when it was announced but knew I had to see it. Now that I see they're doing such a good job on the look and feel, I just can't help but get excited for it. I'm jacked to see the trailer.

im sorry but that looks horrid. i dont know what u guys find in this...looks like last gen filming with costumes...what?

JL4830d ago

I'm just waiting for the trailer at this point. Sunday will tell me whether or not I'll be anticipating this movie any. At this point, I'm just not amped for it. I mean the suit looks good and all, and everything else I've seen looks fine...I'm just not feeling that buzz.

Crazay4830d ago

No buzz at all JL? I guess you either don't much care for Captain America or something else just isn't jiving with you.

JL4829d ago (Edited 4829d ago )

Well I never really did get into Captain America (there were few comic characters I ever did get into). That's nothing against those characters, more of a statement against how much I delved into that area.

I think a big part of it though is just that I'm kinda burned out on comic book movies. Captain America isn't the only one. Green Lantern, Thor, Green Hornet, etc. Just not too excited about them. The only ones I'm mildly excited about are X-Men (which almost has a waning interest at this point) and Transformers. That's mainly because I'm just invested in those franchises having seen the previous installments.

Maybe once I see more from the others, etc, maybe then it will build a lil buzz for me. At this point though, I'm just kinda "eh, I wouldn't even be mad if they got cancelled for some insane reason".

I'm beginning to like the suit the more I see it. I think they could make it seem modern, but then it wouldn't feel like the time period Captain America is from, unless they make him go to the future.

Crazay4830d ago

I think they did a good job of capturing the era Captain America is from all the while giving it a certain level of futuristic/advanced technology feel and appearance.

Sunny_D4829d ago

Yeah, if they can keep his suit seem fitted within in his time period then it works. We don't want to see a futuristic suit in the 1940's. lol

I'm totally ready to see this movie. I bet the trailer is going to be awesome. Behind Thor, this is the comic book movie I'm most looking forward to.

Crazay4830d ago

This summer is going to be a huge year for comic book fans. Thor looks like it's going to kick some major ass and Captain America looks to me like it's got all the potential to be something pretty sweet.

What I really can't wait for is the Avengers movie. Man, I really want to see all the characters come together. But, what I really wanted to see was an ultimate Marvel characters movie. Where all of the characters and their original actors. (Tobey Mcguire-spiderman, all the x men, the fantastic 4, iron man, hulk, etc...) came together to fight all of the villains. But, that won't happen due to legal rights. Sigh, a man can dream.

Im hoping they release an extended trailer sometime over the day or tomorrow. Not really looking forward to the game at all and dont wanna sit through failed attempts.
