Gamertell offers a very positive review of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World now available on Blu-ray, DVD and as a Digital Download.
From the review:
"Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a creative amalgam of pretty much everything cool. It takes a quirky manga story, features scads of video game style fight scenes and special effects and, with a dash of eclectic European sensibilities (I’d say French films but would not want to offend the director), creating a funky fun film about young love.
After seeing the movie and watching several hours of the extra features, I’m now a Scott Pilgrim fan. I had never read the manga (graphic novels) before seeing this on Blu-ray but I am now officially converted."
The Doomsday Cult of Antares De La Luz Review: The documentary explores how the cult members were coerced in the group and made accomplice of heinous crimes.
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
City Hunter Review: The manga adaptation unravels the tragic beginning of Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura's partnership.
All of the people who didn't give this a shot in theaters need to at least check this out on Blu-ray...it'll make a believer out of you (just like it did this reviewer apparently).
