"A shower of arrows and marketing angled to elicit memories of Braveheart were not enough for Ridley Scott's Robin Hood starring Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett to secure the top spot at the box office on its opening day..."
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Wow, despite the reviews I really thought it would still take the top spot; if only for this weekend. I knew it wouldn't be huge, but I figured it would do better. Bad sign...
An average of 6.8 from the reviews we have here at filmwatch...

That makes me sad that it's reviewing so poorly. On the whole I really like Ridley Scott films. But this may mean no one will want to touch a Robin Hood story again for a while, and this isn't the best note to leave off on.
It makes me wish they would have gone with their first idea, where the main character was the Sheriff and it was Robin Hood through his eyes. That would have been something to see.
I don't think 6.8 is bad, i still haven't watched the Movie but hopefully i will go this Friday.
