It’s no secret that Jesse Eisenberg’s portrayal of icon villain Lex Luthor in the DCEU’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was met with polarizing reactions. Given his cameo at the end of Whedon’s Justice League, it was safe to assume that Eisenberg would be returning for future films, perhaps even Man of Steel 2. However, it seems Jesse doesn’t believe that to be true.

Prob for the best. That version was terrible. I’m not putting it all on him. The character was clearly written that way. He just happens to play that type of character well. They wrote it and cast him.
Regardless I hope he doesn’t. Wasn’t a fan.
Literally my least favorite thing about Batman v Superman.
