12 Strong is a fascinating untold story about real heroes, the ensemble cast feels mostly like a semi-realistic band of brothers although some are sadly underused and underwritten. The no holds barred action sequences heighten the realism although the script was a bit clunky at times. When it works, it's engaging and there’s just enough to keep you entertained but you can’t help feel the heroes deserve something meatier.
