FGE - I couldn’t help but feel a little worried when I first entered the cinema to watch Star Trek: Beyond, it’s no secret how much of a troubled production the film had undergone, what with losing its initial director, going through multiple re-writes and having the pressure to celebrate 50 years worth of legacy. Its with this in mind that I’m pleased to report that Star Trek: Beyond is an overwhelming return to form for everybody’s second favourite sci-fi franchise, striking the perfect balance of humour, action and most importantly story.
