Well, I doubt that they'd need to involve him necessarily, but reshoots happen all the time for blockbuster movies, we just don't hear about them. Unless, of course, they're as major as what's rumored. The bottom line is that we don't know if it's a good or bad thing until we see the film. Otherwise, we just know that something IS seriously going down and we have until December to know if it worked.
