Antonio Banderas’ ‘The 33′ Trailer Is Emotional & Touching

The Hergula: If the trailer is of any indication, Antonio Banderas has found himself a part which fits him like a glove in The 33 (Los 33). He plays the part of Mario Sepúlveda, joined on-screen by Cote de Pablo, Rodrigo Santoro, Juliette Binoche and Gabriel Byrne. The 33 is based on the real events of the 2010 mining disaster in San José, Chile, when a group of 33 miners were trapped in a mine. The film focuses on both the disaster itself, as well as how the men try their hardest to survive, and the aftermath of the terrible event. We will see Mario struggle with other men in the mine in which they are trapped in, struggling to find food, water and a way out. For a total of 69 days, the miners have to do whatever it takes to survive.
