More than five years ago, Bruce Campbell first floated the idea of making an Expendables of Horror that brought in all of his most famous genre friends to fight a single threat in one movie. He was planning it as a sequel to his 2008 horror comedy My Name Is Bruce, which found the cult icon essentially playing himself. The new movie was to be called Bruce Vs. Frankenstein, but we haven't heard much about it since then. Last year, he started talking about it again, though at the time, he said the script sucked. We asked Campbell if Bruce Vs. Frankenstein was still happening, and he revealed that he is still in the process of writing the script. He says:

By "Expendables of horror" I hope he doesn't mean a b-grade looking movie with the most sh*t story possible. Where years down the line the only good thing people say about the movie was the awesome masturbatory cast of has beens who ended up playing ultimately forgettable roles as they gasp and reach for any way to stay relevant. Like, you know, their action brethren before them.
My opinion, please don't Bruce.
