IMAX and Marvel announced today in a new press release that Thor: The Dark World will in fact be releasing in digital IMAX 3D across North America. It was previously confirmed to only release in IMAX theaters internationally, but after the record-breaking foreign debut of the film, a domestic large-screen release seems like a pretty good idea. Thor: The Dark World releases on November 8th.
