Bleeder hit screens the same year as Christoper Nolan's first film, Following. In addition to being good films in their own right, both are also interesting studies in their respective director's still-forming styles. While Winding Refn is best known to today's audiences for his deliberate pacing, scenes drenched in neon and operatic acts of shocking violence, Bleeder bears almost no resemblance to his current oeuvre. For those looking for a different kind of Nicolas Winding Refn film, Bleeder is a good place to start. It's raw, funny, sad and violent -- and also very different from his current work. And in that sense, it's also far more accessible than anything else he's made recently.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.

Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
