Astonishing X-Men Collection: IGN Blu-ray Review

IGN:
Joss Whedon brings tragicomedy to the X-Men.

For the first time, all four chapters of Joss Whedon and artist John Cassaday's run on the Astonishing X-Men series ("Gifted," "Dangerous," "Torn" and "Unstoppable") have been made available on Blu-ray. And while there's really never a moment when one, as a viewer, doesn't somehow wish this giant, voluminous story was somehow translated to the screen as an actual motion picture, what remains as a motion comic still resonates in an impressive manner. (Astonishing X-Men: Unstoppable, Blu-ray) 7.3/10
