Laika is back with their second feature, ParaNorman, which is also earning rave reviews. But is the 3D as much of a slam dunk this time? Is it still the only way to truly experience the movie? Before you head out to see ParaNorman this weekend-- and you really should, it's terrific (my full review)-- make sure and read this guide first.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
I always base this decision on support. Do I like the movie, director, or something else that I want to toss extra money their way? Or is it a quick money grab that I don't care for?
In this case the movie was being made for 2 years and I like the director, so yeah I'll see it in 3D.
I never base it off "is it cool in 3D?" because to the studio and marketing of course its mind blowing in 3D, and of people around me fall for the marketing, but I've never seen a 3D movie that made me go "that was sweet!" beyond the zombie shooting scene in Resident Evil and The Amazing Spider-Man sequences.
