Hot Toys has created a remarkably detailed likeness of Henry Cavill’s Superman from Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, and it’s now available for preorder.
Hot Toys is a company that’s become well known for their painstaking attention to detail, creating incredibly lifelike figures from popular movie and game franchises. Recently, they’ve created some amazingly detailed G.I. Joe, The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers figures, and now Superman is getting his turn in the spotlight with a new line of deluxe Man of Steel figures. As you can see in the pictures below, the Henry Cavill likeness is uncanny, and the Superman suit is extremely detailed, from the textured, chainmail-esque material to the gauntlets and flowing cape.
While director Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, starring Henry Cavill and Amy Adams, didn’t make Marvel money on the big screen, the film is constantly cited—for better or worse—as one of the most talked-about superhero films of all time.
A new report claims that Henry Cavill is rumoured to appear at Comic-Con this year to announce his return as Superman to the DCEU.
Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's "Man of Steel," the film that introduced Henry Cavill as Superman. For many fans, Cavill is the definitive version of the Last Son of Krypton because he looks eerily like the character from the comic book. Even director Zack Snyder insisted that once he saw the actor in the suit, he knew he was the right person for the role.
Haha, looks cool. I may get one for my son :)
