Im gonna be really disappointed if they aren't marionettes.
Agreed. That shot where the camera goes through the dilapidated building was above normal for a comic book film. If only rest of the movie lived up to that preview. It was still a good time though.
I feel like Burton is unfairly maligned a lot of the time. I once met him at a Halloween party in Valencia(his hometown, where a lot of his movies were shot - the neighborhood in Scissorhands for example). Guy came in with a paper mache jack skellington mask on. Nobody knew it was him until after the party. Of course I made a drunken ass out of myself congratulating him on his costume. I poked it.
Natalie Dormer is an interesting choice...something tells me they are going to have to think outside the box for this one. The movie sounds like it will be a tough sell for audiences.
Joe was decent, the best starring role Cage has had in while. I'm gonna go with Adam Sandler.
The best trailer of 2014 were for movies that come out in 2015. Mad Max is the best trailer I've seen for a movie in years.
I find it hard to believe that N. Korea wasn't involved in some fashion. Unless this is just a case of incredible irony.
Hopefully Daredevil will be good; if Preacher comes out this year I'll try to watch it. And that Evil Dead show, but I'm not getting a damn Starz subscription.
I didn't think A Million Ways was that bad. It was like the poor man's Blazing Saddles. I actually preferred it to Ted. Maybe I'm just a sucker for Westerns.
Can't argue with you there.
Nice list, I might add Snowpiercer or The Babadook. I've heard of all of those movies except the Michael C. Hall film. These are the kind of films that I save for the dead early months of the new year; it makes for a lot of pleasant surprises.
They are probably going to want somebody with some name recognition, Capt. Marvel is going to be headlining her own film isn't she? In the case of Gal Gadot playing Superwoman, at least audiences will be familiar with her from BvS.
It very much seems like this movie will be used to set up a lot of the following films in the marvel universe. I always thought it was odd that they were going off on this detour with Ultron instead of trying to further the infinity gauntlet storyline. Will anything in this film pertain to that storyline? Will Thanos make an appearance?
Yeah, I'm actually really enjoying this show despite all of the criticism. It's not even really about Marco Polo, the character is just an empty vessel.
Well that's something...I guess. Suppose I'll just fire up my copy of Team America instead until they give this one the proper theatrical treatment.
I too was unaware there was I sequel. Methinks it's probably best not to spoil the first film and watch it.
Love the .gifs in this article.
If I must say I do have an enormous respect for voice acting, it is such an underrated skill. However, it is vastly different than traditional acting, it doesn't necessarily mean a person should deserve more consideration for a role. That being said I do like the article's take on spidey - he should be more of a geek. I don't think any of the movies really nailed this aspect of the character.
also, would it be that hard to include a pic of the person in question?...
Am I wrong in thinking this show is like Sex and the City for dudes?
It is true, we don't know what kind of film he will make. His debut film was impressive (Better Luck Tomorrow, which was the first movie MTV films picked up).
I wasn't one of them, but a lot of people did enjoy the new captain America movie. It was one of the most successful movies this year and it was also really gritty. Grit is alive and strong.
