I actually have Infinite Jest on my Kindle but haven't gotten around to reading it.
I'm very interested in checking this one out.
A shame to see it underperforming in critical scores (except from the likes of IGN of course). The initial Red Band trailer showed some potential.
Very excited to see this over weekend (if all goes according to plan).
Hope it's true. Keep to a solid 13 episode line (per season) like Netflix seems to do quite often and you've hit that happy medium of enough episodes for fans while stripping out filler.
Well...I'm sorta conflicted about it. I did dig the motorcycle stunt stuff at the end, but the virus stuff, the girl, etc. just came off as bland.
Pales in comparison to first one for sure but still had some stuff going for it.
Yeah. They really nailed the genre mashup and comedy of it quite well.
And Thank God it beat out Pixels for top spot. Perhaps people are waking up to Sandler's laziness.
Interested to see how this character turns out.
Please have Banks just be his last name + his first name be Cody. ;)
Ouch. This film is getting slammed. And it actually had some decent potential too. :(
I'm thinking the same thing. Neutral may be his approach here.
Interesting behind-the-scenes look at The Revenant's production. You've gotta look out for the safety concerns of your crew.
Some great talent behind this one. Add this with Tarantino + Star Wars Ep. VII and December keeps looking better and better.
That behind-the-scenes stuff had me the most worried about the film. You just can't help but wonder.
I'm actually relieved. Not sure how to handle a Solo/Fett joint adventure. I'm more interested in stuff like Rogue One because it's familiar side-story that appears to be centered around NEW characters.
It's certainly nice to see that kind of positive outlook to a movie I held dear during my childhood; however, some of those half-witted political polemics squeezed in along with the examination just poison an otherwise enthusiastic examination.
I mean...7 years in and we're still going to trickle in racial subtext regarding disagreement of Obama's politics, especially in avenues like foreign policy can that often mirror (or look even worse) than what the proclai...
It's...not exactly a must-watch compared to something like the new Mad Max. More of a okay popcorn flick that will definitely require you to swallow some incredibly dumb stuff.
Still the best one after Jurassic Park (imo), but that's not really saying much when considering they really should've stopped after the first one anyways.
Perhaps not that drastic, but maybe just not worth running out to see it + the cost of a movie ticket are taken into consideration.
It's interesting to see that specific Independence Day quote brought up (Pullman speech). Even in that quote, it talks about getting rid of Independence Day as just an American holiday.
Woot!
Hope everyone celebrating has a good 4th of July.
Man, you're working a good streak on here with grand prizes. And this time, I was only slightly ahead in comments here. ;)
Congrats to winners.
RIP Piper
He played the role of They Live really well, especially for a wrestler. Could've fooled me as him being just a really built actor back in the 80's.
