Deserved. Pretty fun series.
It's strange to think of them getting involved in film production. More power to them, I guess.
Isn't that the case with a lot of things in capitalism though? How could anyone expect Disney to gauge genuine fan interest by a collection of randoms on social media? Speaking with your wallet has always been a more effective way to get a CEO's attention.
Same. Surprising to see that price on it (even if for Prime members).
Even his first set photo has to be a dutch angle.
*stinks
But when looking at the costs of expensive re-shoots, Solo's been said to have cost well north of 250 million dollars.
And, yeah, it would be considered a financial flop when put up to any measurement of any other Star Wars film.
EDIT: Which sticks too. I'm not trying to rag on the film, as I think it was a pleasant surprise.
Woah.
Simon Kinburg is directing, actually.
You broke the code. ;)
Right...still comparatively low to other titles with such a budget. Total box office is resting at $90 mil too. That suggests a likelihood of just paying back its budget until DVD/Blu-Ray sales happen.
It may have been #1 at the box office, but those numbers aren't very promising considering how it's been estimated to have a budget of $150-$185 million.
Best of luck to all users.
Congrats to winners.
Let's go!!!
"A movie called flatliners just got flatlined."
Beat me to the punch. :P
That's a shame. I really dug the trailer released a few weeks back. Then again, this is an IGN review.
Season 3 was an enjoyable--albiet inconsistent--ride. Hope they wrap up things in a satisfying way.
That looks like it could be awesome!
Red Letter Minutiae left a permanent mark on the 'cultural discourse' of those films, which enabled annoying fanboys to pretend George was off his rocker making...the very thing that inspired him: cheesy adventure serials in the vein of Flash Gordon. I don't blame GL for being sick of hearing it from those types, even after goodwill was being accrued with The Clone Wars TV series.
