Cameron Crowe's career has been very inconsistent since the Elizabethtown it seems. I was still mildly interested in this one but certainly doesn't appear like it really reached its true potential.
I still haven't gotten around to watching this and it seems like I should.
A friend saw this yesterday and said it was alright. I'm tempted to check it out just based on knowing so little about it before it popped on metacritic.
As much as I disagree with Trump, I gotta admit his uncouth character is something else to watch.
It did have me thinking back to that scene. The more games become a part of pop culture, the more you'll see subtle influences like that from directors and such.
I'm with those people predicting such an opening, perhaps even higher.

I know he only had a minute to discuss this but this was nothing more than a generic listoff with a generic 'I hate the prequels' finisher.
Really? MI:III isn't even that good, especially from a direction standpoint. The way Brad Bird handled so many of those action scenes compared to the bland shaky cam, and sometimes overdone lens flare, of JJ Abrams detracts from each night action scene. Story kept me intrigued, I'll give it that though.
Agree with MI:II though. Really the only one that just hits sub-standard even by action film standards.
That's pretty impressive. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go up to ten seasons.
