... this just looks so funny.
I'm glad that we're now finally getting some quality comedies from Hollywood, instead of the very lame stuff that's been posing as comedy (Scary Movie, White Chicks, etc etc).
1: Michael C. Hall (Dexter): He can combine the rational with the 'psycho', which is so relevant in the Riddlers obessions with outsmarting his opponents.
2: Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock): detached from human emotion, cold, and deadly smart.
3: Casey Affleck: A little less calculating, a bit more emotional, really seeing it as a sick perverted game, not caring about any of the victims but only caring about leaving everyone clueless.
... and I'd love to see a movie or TV-series using this style.
Not everything has to be 'dark', and obviously it also doesn't have to be for 'kids', just because of the Pixar artstyle. It can be a mature cool story which is suitable for everyone, just like the comics are!
... but I'm more excited about seeing Eddie Izzard in this!
.... and I'm not going to pay extra for something I genuinely dislike.
I would like to see a director's cut, but TBH my first reaction to news like this, is always: if this is the director's cut, why wasn't this released in the first place!?!?
Now people have to double-dip to get to see the best version!?
I wouldn't have minded so much if they had announced it before the release of the movie (like they did with LOTR and K...
... what if Johnny Depp would have played the lead role in Platoon!?
For one, I think that movie would have been infinitely better for it, but also it might have just changed Depp's complete career, instead of him going into television work, hating that, and then going completely in the other direction with strange original (but wonderful) roles.
... I hope it comes with the Team Fortress 2 CGI shorts. Those were fantastic!
... the world would be a better place!
...why would Bruce Banner's cousin have to be WHITE, just because he is white!? I'm white and I have lots of 'colored' nieces and nephews.
I'm pretty sure Nick Fury used to be a white guy as well.
In the end, she'll just be GREEN on the screen anyway! And Beyonce has the perfect look to portray a She-Hulk, as depicted in the comics from the late 80's/90's.
... not on the list though, is my choice for She-Hulk, who could be played by the gorgeous Beyonce.
It would add another (sexy) woman to the cast, and could provide some nice banter between her and The Hulk whenever he's not green, and she is... (among other potential for great banter among the guys about her, and possibly some jealousy/bitchyness between her and Black Widow)
Also, maybe as a cameo, I would love to see U.S. Agent, even if only for the gr...
... millions of dollars to judge other people's singing abilities...
In fact, I find it insulting and disrespectful towards the contestants, the audience, and to people who DO know something about singing and would have made a better judge.
That said, I don't even watch the crappy show, so what do I care!?
... for her role as extremely HOT-T-T-T mom in 'Grounded for Life'.
Also, Carla from Cheers was a memorable hardworking TV-mother.
However, THE most memorable TV-mom (for me at least) has to be Tichina Arnold as Rochelle in 'Everybody hates Chris'! She was just awesome! So funny!
... is The Raid.
... and leave out the hospital-scene from John Woo's Hard Boiled!
... it's 4 hours long!
Personally, I hate it when movies get multiple cuts. I just want 1 cut which the director has decided on, and then never goes back to it. Ever.
So I believe LOTR should have been shown in the cinema completely uncut, just like so many other movies which were cut simply to knock off some time, and where the BR gets released with the extended/director's cut, which is not only the longer version, but also the much better version.
... they should have called the movie 'The 'Roid Couple'!
... is is supposedly 1 of the most promising movies to hit this year.
The trailer of this looks absolutely amazing.
The only thing I'm worried about is that the western release will be getting an alternative soundtrack (done by the guy from Linkin Park), which I'm not interested in so I won't be watching it in the cinema. The director has poromised the original soundtrack will be an option on the BR-release so I'll wait for that.
... where's The Raid!?
... although I missed Kyle Schwartz on there (Kyle's stereotypical jewish cousin. :) )
... when the western publishers have never ever treated the genre with ANY kind of respect in the first place.
Here in the west, most of these movies were only shown to us in a completely butchered and raped way.
The movies are often cut up. They are often dubbed with ridiculously bad voice-actors who camp it up. Often, the little plot that's left after important scenes have been cut out, are crapped on because the new dub has to fit the movement of the m...
