Hopefully this time, everyone will get the exact same cut, instead of last time, where European audiences/customers got stuck with a version that had a new (Shinoda) soundtrack....

I've seen this movie in Hong Kong last year, and it's a tremendous piece of art, that should have been nominated for Best Foreign Movie, and should have won Best Cinematography.

That said, this western release is of course completely butchered, and thus not worthy of a purchase. Anyone interested in this would be much better of importing the HK BluRay release, or finding another way to obtain an uncut version.

It's just terrible how often amazing ...

Loved Uncle. Great cast, fantastic lead, and some awesome songs. Glad it's getting a 2nd season.

I haven't read the comics, and I'm not much into sci-fi fantasy flicks, so I'm still a bit skeptical about it all.

I think the 'problem' is mainly that Wonder Woman is supposed to be this Amazon warrior, so she's BIG, but also still feminine. STRONG, yet sexy.

We've been 'índoctrinated' by years of visual imagery of what Wonder Woman looks like, and if you then cast a skinny small 'petite' girl in that role... well... not everyone will be able to make that switch in their head, between what they imagine/hope WW will look like in real life, and how she...

After the 'okay' reviews, I'm not in a rush to see it, and certainly won't watch it in the cinema.

However, it's director has stated there was a lot of crap he had to put up with from producers, so hopefully some day we will see some kind of uncut 'director's cut', with his own vision of what it should have been.

I thought Batman Begins was good, The Dark Knight was great, and TDK Rises I thought was terrible, although maybe I need to give it another chance.

Haven't seen Man of Steel yet.

Seems like a decent effort. A shame some stuff doesn't seem to work, and they toned the violence down to get a PG-rating.

I wonder if there will be a longer, harder uncut version.

Maybe he didn't need that 1 billion dollars before, but now he wants to buy a new PS4 or something...!?

;)

Personally, I was less impressed, and for me it was probably the weakest of the episodes/movies so far.

Acting-wise and comedy were great, but I just really never cared about the 'mystery', mostly because it took so long to actually be about that mystery.

Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good watch, but it just somehow felt a bit too off-track.

Hopefully they won't replace the original soundtrack this time. Still haven't watched the original because here in Europe and Hong Kong they only released the Shinoda-version. Sadly.

Seems like a fantastic movie, but I won't support butchered stuff.

The problem was never Clooney. It's all about the script and the director.

If this movie sucks, it won't be because Affleck sucks, cause he's not a bad enought actor to singlehandedly ruin a movie, and if it succeeds it's also not because of Affleck, cause he isn't great enough to make a mediocre movie into something more than that.

There's nothing wrong with the casting of Affleck. Apart from perhaps the fact he's got no martial a...

It's a crappy list. For starters, The Grandmaster is missing. HK cut is tremendous (western releases were butchered, as usual).

But apart from that, it just seems extremely western-orientated, while there are so many great movies coming out from all around the world.

You'd think a magazine/website with the title 'TOTAL Film' would be a little bit more open-minded, than the very limited view they're showing here.

Just watched the first movie yesterday on the BBC, and thought it was terrible. Applegate and Carell were good, but other than that it just had nothing really interesting to offer.

That said, I never liked these kinds of movies (Ferrell, Stiller, Sandler, etc etc...), so it wasn't a huge surprise that I ended up not liking it.

Hopefully this time they'll just stick with 1 version, instead of screwing over parts of the world with an alternative soundtrack, excluding the original music.

Still haven't seen the movie because of it not being available here in Holland or Hong Kong with the original soundtrack, instead just having the 'Shinoda' music.

Yeah, but in Kilmer's case, the suit wasn't really to blame for looking chubby.

First Donnie Yen Ip Man movie was very good. Ip Man 2 was ridiculous. Young Ip Man was good apart from the last 30 minutes orso.

The Grandmasters was fucking awesome, although I feel Zhang Ziyi stole the show. Gorgeous movie. Too bad they'll release a different cut in the USA. I'll stick to a bootleg.

Haven't seen the Anthony Wong movie yet, nor am I really interested in it.

I don't mind a lot of movies about the same characte...

... would have been Joaquin Phoenix. Just look at him. He has absolutely the perfect face to play a brooding Bruce Wayne.

Now he's a bit older, so I'm not sure.

Tyler Hoechlin might be a good choice as well.

... It's a Wong Kar Wai movie, which IS about martial artists.

I absolutely LOVED the movie when I watched it in Hong Kong earlier this year, but I'm a huge WKW/art-house fan. Your expectations might be different than mine, going into it.

Also, I believe the USA/Western cut will be (slightly) different than the HK cut. Which is a shame, cause the HK cut is pretty damn close to perfection.

Hopefully they didn't throw in a new sound...

.... so I'm not really sure how I feel about Mendes returning as the director.

Craig is always great, and Casino Royale is probably my favourite Bond ever, but I thought Skyfall just wasn't really 'Bond' enough. On paper, it ticked off some 'exotic locations', but never really managed to take good use of them (Shanghai just a building, Macau just a secret casino/den, and an interesting island we didn't see enough of).

And the endi...
