Definitely. DC may have fallen short quite a few times live-action, but their Batman movies have blown me away as of late. Gimme Dark Knight Returns and I don't even need Affleck.

I'm not sure whether producing is what Michael Bay's truly better at, but this looks half-decent.

Nice. Looking forward to this.

A terrible thing to hear, rest in peace sir.

It certainly enhanced it, that's for sure. Not likely accompanied by that realistic amount of alcohol.

A rather ambiguous sketch that likely won't make final production as rough as it is. I'd rather see some real set-photos by this point in time, but that's probably 'round the same time we'd just get a trailer. Dec. 18th, 2015 can't come soon enough.

I'll forever remember him as I first saw him as a kid: Peter Pan. Such a loss of talent. R.I.P. Mr. Williams. May you find your NeverLand.

I'm wondering whether or not Mark Hamill will finally get roped into this.

I'd hate to say it, but she's probably right...

No wonder. Saw scared the crap outta me in just its trailer, much more so since VI. #ConfessionsOfAScaredyCat

I'd be down with that. The comic tie-in almost seems to suggest that possibility at this time. After all, we don't even know how long Steve would really stay with the mantle anyway. I imagine him going rogue completely from the government in Cap 3, maybe even die.

Amazon's taking on everyone then. If it's Disney they're picking a fight with, they're not gonna win this one.

I have high hopes this'll lead to some kind of video game reboot to tie into as well. Wesker, Umbrella, they all need to die and be buried. Start over the mythology and get to work giving the series a new coat of paint.

Spider-man 2 will always have my heart. A reeked out 12-year old will never forget watching and fighting Molina on the big and small screen the minute I came home to play its awesome movie game.

Only if Marvel isn't up to the task, and they have the high ground now. DC's just starting their cinematic universe in the middle of Marvel's Movie Golden Age.

Wherever they move, it's up against a Marvel titan. Wise move moving it to spring, though it combats people's work/school schedules.

Marvel's in a good place where no matter what they do, they can only blame it on the individual studio that helped (Fox, Disney, Sony). There...

The real question is how many enemies has he made by this point. We know Luthor's in here, but can any of Batman's villains really do global damage?

I remember the same cast list for Kevin J. Anderson's Enemies and Allies feeling lopsided because none of Batman's own demons were part of it.

Batman: The Animated Series was the only real one that made Joker and Lex a real (and dangerous) team. Arkham Origins' Troy Baker would make a killer ...

I'll believe when I see it by this point. A bit tired of Lucasfilm riding on brand alone; like Marvel's doing and has done, we need the goods. I know, a bit spoiled from the amount of on-set photos and leaks we get for Avengers and such, but Star War VII's in unproven territory. And we're not even sure what the characters are like.

Always pictured him in Inhumans, definitely as Black Bolt. By this point, I assume it'd be at least 2020 though?

I've long though Sin City's biggest problem was its television format squeezed into a film time slot. No way to get good story arcs going, you instead have to rely on snapshots of characters' lives.

I second that the budget for the black 'n white comic effects would kill its budget chances the same as the live-action X-men I've always dreamed about, but in a perfect world, that's what it'd be. Or, ya know, a graphic novel of some kind.

Avengers, Star Wars, Disney's gonna make it rain in this next year. Only one Warner and Paramount away from owning the geek world.
