Hah, yeah. I'd say not too many video game characters dodged the bullet either. I'm looking at you Drake and your Subway.
Smallville never failed without Superman, but only because they had the side of him that we don't see. It'll be difficult for Bruce Wayne, especially as a kid, to show off what Batman becomes when he isn't even on that path yet. Teenage Clark already was.
I'd vote for a time jump per season, at least to the point where they can get Batman onscreen, because there's little story to Gordon's cases eventually having to go cold for Batman take up the respo...
Probably because China loves seeing 'roided up 'Muricans flex their muscles and grunt like Stallone.
Wow, incredible. Great they even got the comic look down too.
With Singer back at the helm, looks like X-Men's in fine hands again. Spider-man? Eh, Marvel might need to polish that...a bit.
Cool. Wanted to see Adam Levine's face coming right up at me anyways.
Boy, poor Juggernaut...not like he had much respect going for him period, but the man just has to pee! lol
My money says Marvel does just fork over the cash to RDJ and Ironman 4 happens between the last two Avengers like tradition dictates...or they just let War Machine take over. Those are the two easy choices.
An apprentice? That's NOT Rhodey? Makes little sense to me. A shame that Sony has Spider-man, because I'd love to have Chris Cooper in the suit.
It's a good time to be a wrestling actor it seems. Drax was, as was just about everyone in Guardians besides Ronan, one of the best characters of the film. Probably 2016 by the time Guardians hits to follow up Cap 3.
A buttload of great summers to look forward to thanks to Marvel.
The best it can be is, for one, starting off with entirely new characters, not with any cheap pre-existing ones. It can also deal with a new setting, probably new class of characters.
California coast, bombed out LA, wealthier residents with more resources, more influence, more agendas. Whatever it is, they know they can't do Georgia.
Yup. Totally.
My Top 8:
Spider-man 2
X-Men: Days of Future Past
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The Avengers
Thor: The Dark World
Captain America: The First Avenger
Guardians of the Galaxy
Ironman 3
Thanks FilmWatch!
Definitely. So many superheroes like Batman and Superman are such cultural icons that everyone knows their origins anyway, as if Batman Begins and Smallville didn't cover that enough. Just get to the good stuff.
My gosh. The horror couldn't mutated into this?!
At least madness doesn't equate dumbness in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Maybe the new Lex builds Brainiac out of a build for Facebook.
You got it Porcelain Chicken.
Dang. Does it come with real meth?
Surprised Guardians has lasted this long, just as much as I'm not surprised in the least that TMNT dropped off after only a week. There's still some money to be pinched out of one of the best summers on record.
