I don't know howmuch more improved JP would look as the CGI was better than most movies that came after for years. That initial brontosaurus (brachiosaurus?) shot in the first act could use some work, but the T-rex was amazing. Blending live full sized animatronics and CGI created an awesome scene.
Hollywood is seriously out of ideas. All I hear is "remake" and "reboot".
One thing that is gonna be hard to stomach is the fact that Arnold in his prime looked like a dude you didn't wanna mess with. Currently, all male actors, no matter how buffed, look like sissies in comparison. Even the new Coco the Barbarian looks like a dude who would get cut in half by Arnold in the opening scene.
Yeah that speech was epic. I can see why that one guy saluted so hard.

I didn't see this movie yet, but my one fear is coming true... Ryan Reynolds' limited range as an actor has become even more apparent as he plays Hal Jordan as Ryan Reynolds.... like every movie he's ever done.
"There are also moments where the CGI suit sported by Reynolds has the unfortunate effect of making him look like his head is rapidly outgrowing his body." No that's just a natural effect of Ryan Reynolds giant melon head.

As far as teaser trailers go, this was pretty bad. Not to be mean or anything, but there was too much text explaining the story,... and a shot of his cheap looking boots.

In a lot of ways, the cartoon Phineas and Ferb is a lot like this movie. No wonder I love that show.
Most of DC's animated movies are more mature than your typical cartoon. I'm prolly gonna get this to add to my DC bluray collection.

I figured out Identity before the ending and I had a feeling about the twist for the village but I was hoping it wasn't true.... it turned out to be true.
I can't believe The Village made it but not the 6th Sense.
I actually thought it was great, prolly due to the sissy wolfmen of Twilight, but it was far from god-awful
