I don't understand the need to change the story. I mean, the new TV show on Nick is fantastic, and no one has a problem with the mutation thing.

Michael Bay is doing a TMNT remake? O dear god, there goes another good childhood memory that's about to go down the drain. Now everyone say cheese for Michael Bay and his crappy shallow storylines.

i dont care what he does with it so long as its good. simple as that, i have seen their original origins 100x over again so its not a big deal to get an alternative take, it could be more interesting even just because its more fresh.

my problem is with bay in general, he completely ruined transformers due to annoying characters and a plot that made little sense. he has potential because prior to transformers i loved his work but since then, mediocre at best ( trans 1/2 ) and at his worst, complete garbage ( trans 3 )

That's because I'm sure Kevin Eastman got $$$$ somewhere and of course will say the movie is fantastic.

I'd also like to add, if he cared about the franchise, wouldn't he be just listening to what the original creator says?
