IMAX Corporation and Twentieth Century Fox today announced that Prometheus, director Ridley Scott’s return to the Alien universe, will be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX 3D format and released in IMAX digital and film theatres domestically and in a select number of IMAX theatres internationally, starting June 8, 2012.
Sir Ridley directs and produces the film, which is written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof. Prometheus: An IMAX 3D Experience features a stellar international cast that includes Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron.

prometheus might be one of the best films this year and might be the most surprisingly good movie, the trailer looks cool. some movies are to overrated because of the imax and 3D, but this movie looks perfect for imax viewing.
