Paramount Will Release Paranormal Activity 4 This Year

Collider says

Paramount sent out a press release today about their plans for 2012, and to the surprise of no one, the studio plans to release Paranormal Activity 4 this year. My son told me these are really good and scary but I've never seen any of them. I kinda want to but I don't know if I will or not.

Everyone I know loves them. The first is a good scare and the others are more startling because you kind of get used to the way they set things up. There really aren't any movies like these out there so they're pretty cool to watch, if only to see how the characters react to these f'd up situations.

I don't get why people bother to see these sequels. The first movie wasn't all that exciting, and the second movie was so predictable it became laughable.

But I'm sure Paramount love this series. They can spend less money on them and ride on the hype...
