IGN: Scream 4 was a doomed production right from the get-go. And things seemed to have gotten worse when troubles between writer Kevin Williamson and the Weinsteins brewed. If you're a fan of the series, you know the troubles this production saw. But even if things had gone smoothly, it's not likely Scream 4 would have been any better. It's just not a refreshing movie, which is exactly what it needed to be. New decade. New Rules? Not really.
