“As the crow flies” may denote the shortest route from one place to another, but the movie version of The Crow is proving to be less than a straight shot.
Relativity is remaking the supernatural action movie based on the 1990s comic and has set Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to direct.

Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
Screw Cooper, Tatum and Marky Mark.
I would KILL to see Johnny Depp get this role. Its perfect for him.
You're right...whether it be Depp or even a newcomer, Cooper was never right for this role anyway. They need someone that can be more like the Crow himself was...there aren't too many out there that I would even want playing the part.
I think that I'd like to see Cillian Murphy as A Crow but not as Eric Draven. Draven has already been played and Brandon Lee did a fantastic job with it.
We'll see who gets it. Whoever, I just hope can do a good job.
Interesting choice for the role there though I'm not sure he's quite enough of a tough guy type to pull it off, I can't quite see him doing the fights quite convincingly, but I could be wrong. I do think he's really become a great actor though.
