Even with the negative reception from critics and dreadful financial showing, ‘Mars Needs Moms’ is quite watchable. It won’t leave the urge to make an impulse purchase, but sure is worth a rent. Children, who are the target audience, will enjoy the film, but will not be memorable to them with the plethora of animated options available these days. The video presentation on 3D or 2D is spectacular, so which ever version you decide to watch, you can’t go wrong. The DTS-HD 7.1 sound mix closes out the deal for a nice supplement packed disc. 3D fans, We at Project-Blu have to say this is a good buy for added depth even if you're looking for lots of pop-out effects, which aren't in the cards here.
