Frank D’Arbo (Rainn Wilson – The US Office) is a cook at the local diner and is married to a waitress named Sarah (Liv Tyler – The Incredible Hulk). Their relationship is strained and Frank knows it. It doesn’t take long for Sarah to find romance in the arms of another man named Jacques (Kevin Bacon – Footloose), a low-level drug dealer. With his life in ruins Frank decides to make a stand and rescue Sarah from this mistake. The only way he can right society’s wrongs is to create a persona… a superhero that can make his neighbourhood safe again whilst winning back the affections of his estranged wife. That persona is The Crimson Bolt, an avenger armed with a monkey wrench and a sidekick named Boltie (Ellen Page – Inception) who is ready to make every low-life pay for their crimes.
Don’t let the cringey awkwardness of The Office fool you: Michael Scott would actually be the perfect boss.
