The Hollywood Reporter: Akira, the English-language, live-action take on the landmark anime and manga property, is zeroing in on its star, and it just might be Keanu Reeves.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes has just released, and there's a lot to unpack about it.
Based on Adele Parks' novel, director Jeff Fisher's The Image of You positions itself as a sexy thriller movie dripping with intrigue and family deception, but it's largely a non-event.
When a messiah is needed, does it matter how a planet gets one? That's what we'll discuss in our Dune Part Two Review!
Get out, and don't come back. I'm not even a huge fan of Akira (think I've got it rated 8/10 on MAL), but this really annoys me. They're whitewashing the hell outta this. I think we might see a new bar set for Hollywood rape here.
Love Keanu Reeves but not for this....forget it.
No matter who they choose for the role people are going to hate it.
Why are they looking for someone so much older for these characters ? Makes no sense ???
I don't know what they're trying to do if in fact that is what they're doing. I know a lot of younger actors that would be much better suited for this....are we sure it's not just a rumor?
