I’m actually impressed. Not exactly an ‘Apes fan and I don’t even know anyone personally who is into the whole mythos. Except maybe my folks but that’s because majority of the films (if not all since the Burton version was so-so) belonged to their generation. Hence I wanna share this trailer because I believe it deserves a look.
With the new The Crow remake coming soon, we take a look back at the 30-year-old cult classic original–and where the stars are now.
Kaam Chalu Hai Review: Based on true events, this movie is thought-provoking and inspiring
Rebel Moon Part 2 Review: This movie doesn't feel anything new or worth remembering, which is a shame.
WOW!
Does that ever look AWESOME! This is going to be a seriously good freaking movie. I almost had the feeling that I was watching an apocalyptic movie along the lines of 28 Days later. I'm jacked for this movie.
Alright the this looks a hundred times better than I thought it would. I actually forgot Franco was even attached with this one but what a relief that this looks good.
I must say this does look better than I ever could have imagined - there is something truly eery about those visual fx. Although I do think the film is taking itself a bit too seriously in some places. And I always thought the idea behind the planet of the apes is that the 'apes' slowly started to take over as mankind began to self destruct, not that a group of apes just got really smart and overthrew people. That might get a little cheesy watching a bunch of monkeys take arms against civilized people, although I geuss I could always appreciate it as some kind of Tea Party parody.
:0 I must say, I am extremely impressed!
I really enjoyed the trailer. I am surprised by how real the apes look!
