Based on the graphic novels by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead is sure to be a hit for AMC. Although the first few minutes remind viewers heavily of 28 Days Later, the scenes that follow have a very rare and edgy undertone that most movies and television of the genre lack. The hype, that can so often break a new show or movie, only justifies the premiere. AMC has taken a popular subject matter of the viewing public, de-commercialized it, ran it through a meat grinder, and served it up raw on Halloween Night. We loved it. AMC should be proud.
Dark Matter Review: Although some of its runtime might be quite dense, there are moments in this sci-fi series that leaves you at the edge of your seat.
Down The Rabbit Hole Review: The movie has few, if any, moments that make you laugh, and it feels like it was rushing to its conclusion.
